Join us for an upcoming IG Live with the founder of Archive Book Store, Cheryse Terry.


On Thursday, May 26th from 6:30-7:30 PM EST, join us for an IG Live with Cheryse Terry, founder and owner of Archive Book Cafe! Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, Archive is a space where nostalgia marries modernity and offers quality and rare ephemera, vintage publications, and new and used books, Archive is the first of its kind in Charlotte. 

We will discuss Terry’s affinity for Black archives and ephemera; the power of visual storytelling; the importance of preserving Black cultural, political, and knowledge productions in Charlotte, North Carolina, and more. Black Women Radicals Database Curator Intern, Jaedyn Griddine, will co-lead the conversation! 

About Cheryse Terry: Cheryse Terry, Native of Charlotte NC, Owner of Archive (book cafe), Archivist, Documentary photographer, all things creative. 

About Jaedyn Griddine: Jaedyn (she/her) is a Georgia native, Virgo sun and current Political Science major at Emory University with aspirations of practicing law in her future. Her academic interests include radical leftist political theory, historic and contemporary Black political movements, French literature and francophone studies, constitutional law and civil rights law. In her free time you can find her galavanting through Atlanta, thrifting, reviewing films on Letterboxd, creating playlists on Spotify or completing crossword puzzles.
